How do I add my NPI and DEA numbers to my MX account?

If you’re a prescribing physician that would like to access CURES within MX Access, please follow these steps to add your NPI and DEA numbers to your MX account:

1) Log in to your MX account. At the top right side of the screen, select your name and “My Account.”

2) Your account details will be displayed in a popup window. In the “NPI” field enter your NPI number.

3) In the “DEA” field enter your DEA number. This field automatically hides the DEA number.

4) If you would like to see the DEA number entered, select the box “Show DEA Number” under the DEA field.

5) Click “Save” to update your account. Note: The DEA number must be entered in the correct format (i.e., 2 letters followed by 7 numbers). If the DEA number is entered incorrectly, an error message will be displayed.

6) Re-enter your DEA number in the correct format and click “Save.” A confirmation banner will display “Account updated.”

7) When you navigate to the medication tab in MX Access, the “CURES 2.0” button will now be available at the top right side of the screen.
