Currently we are not showing 99 procedure codes from claims in MX Access. We explained to Aetna that (from Product) when we went live with claims data in MX Access we received multiple requests to suppress the 99 procedure codes from being displayed as there were too many CPT codes listed in MX Access that cause more ‘noise’ than users would like to see (i.e., users complained that 99214 - patient visit wasn’t an actual procedure).

Could you ask your data team if this could be modified so the record could show “99XXX” so viewers understand it’s an EM code rather than actually missing? I think it’s still valuable for clinical staff to understand a office visit occurred
